MATURE-AGED APPRENTICE ELECTRICIAN

We are rapidly Growing - We are looking for a mature-aged Apprentice Electrician to join our busy and growing team.

The Role:

As an Apprentice Electrician with DRACS HVAC & Electrical, you'll work alongside our experienced team across a wide range of commercial, industrial and residential electrical and HVAC projects.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be learning every day. You'll be expected to get stuck in, ask questions, take direction and progressively develop the skills and confidence required to become a highly capable electrician.

To be able to undertake any HVAC & Electrical work assigned by the Managing Directors in an efficient and productive manner with pride, excellent workmanship and quality.

DRACS HVAC and Electrical is a refrigeration, electrical and air conditioning contracting business maintenance provider, based in Toowoomba Queensland.



We have been proudly serving the community and our partners on large and medium sized projects. Working on small to large commercial A/C installations, commercial refrigeration & maintenance, transport refrigeration, domestic air conditioning just to name a few.

Majority of our work is within the commercial & industrial industries which provides you a fantastic opportunity to really use your brain and challenge yourself with an emphasis on returning you home safely to your family every day!

- 38 hour + week with early knock off Friday afternoons.

- 4 weeks annual leave, we are a bit further out of the way then most cities meaning travel is required for those well-earned breaks.

What we ARE ABSOLUTLY looking for:

- A mature-aged Electrical Apprentice – 2nd or 3rd year encouraged to apply – who is reliable, punctual and genuinely committed to completing their apprenticeship.

- A current Manual Driver’s Licence, with the ability to travel to different jobs and work confidently in a fast-paced setting.

- Someone who is organised, practical and able to think on their feet, with strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work professionally with clients, tradesmen and the rest of the team.

- Someone who takes pride in their workmanship, wants to do the job properly and is willing to go the extra mile.

- A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn, take direction, work independently when required and continue developing into a highly skilled electrician.
