Venue Manager - Eastwood Hotel This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large Sydney based hotel group which encourages growth opportunities opportunities. The Eastwood Hotel is a historic landmark located in the vibrant heart of Eastwood, just steps away from Eastwood Train Station. Whilst we have been established in the hotel industry for more than 30 years, we are always looking to increase our hotel portfolio, thus ensuring on-going career development and promotion, for those employees that display positive intent, respect and a willingness to learn.

Established in the early 20th century, the hotel has been a beloved gathering spot for locals and visitors alike. Recently renovated, The Eastwood Hotel now boasts modern amenities while preserving its classic charm, making it one of Western Sydney’s premier destinations. Key responsibilities include:

- Creating a culture where the team feel protected, valued and enjoy coming to work.
- Using initiative to ensure sales targets are met.
- Extensive knowledge of Food & Beverage, TAB and Gaming Operations.
- Working closely with senior management, support office who share the same vision.
- Compliance, stock management, training and developing of the team
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the venue.

The successful applicant will:





- Essential requirements for this position are Current RSA, RCG & ARCG Competency Cards
- Be a motivational leader who encourages and develops the team to ensure an exceptional customer experience each time.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of management experience in a similar role with a strong knowledge of managing day-to-day operations of a venue with strong and complex trade
- Hands on approach in your leadership and management
- A friendly, outgoing personality with excellent people skills
- A passion for the hospitality industry with the desire to progress within the company

This role requires completion of a National Police Check as part of our Employee Due Diligence process.
