Level 1/2 - $31.14 per hour to $44.83 per hour incl. casual loading

The Role

Join the JD Hardie Youth and Community Hub and play a key role in creating positive experiences for local children, young people, and families.
In this rewarding position, you will assist with the delivery of engaging programs, activities, and initiatives that promote social connection, wellbeing, and participation. Working under the supervision of the Children and Facilities Services Supervisor, you will build positive relationships with children and families and provide safe supervision during activities and programs. You will also support the day-to-day operations and upkeep of the Hub while delivering exceptional customer service to visitors and stakeholders.

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- National Police Clearance
- Rights to work in Australia
- Working with Children Card (or willing to obtain)
Essential Experience
- Previous experience working with children and/or young people
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work in a team
