We have a fantastic and rare opportunity to offer a FULL TIME position at our company. We are looking for dedicated professionals who can provide exceptional customer service to our students, while teaching Open Water Courses (and beyond) to the highest standards.

At this time, we are only accepting applications from people who live in Australia

In this role, you will be working alongside other professionals teaching our students about the underwater world and all it has to offer. You will be required to work with beginner students all the way through to dive professionals.

The successful applicant will need the following qualifications:

- Current SSI teaching status
- Current SSI membership
- Current Dive Medical
- Provide First Aid and Resus/CPR – Manual License
- Already lives in Australia

The following are highly preferable, but not essential:

- Current PADI teaching status

PADI Membership Duties will include (but not be limited to):

- Teaching open water courses (both solo and as part of a team)




- Teaching Advanced (and beyond) courses.
- Driving students to and from the pool and ocean
- Heavy lifting (taking equipment in and out of the storefront, filling up trailer, etc)

We are open to Divemasters to come and work for us, with the expectation that you would pursue your Open Water Instructor Certification as soon as possible.

You must be based in the Brisbane metropolitan area to be considered for this role.

Brisbane Dive Academy is a multi-award-winning company comprising a small team of open water instructors. We are one of the leading academies in Queensland for learning to Scuba Dive.

Job responsibilities:

The Successful candidate must be professional, friendly, have leadership skills, be reliable, punctual, eager to learn and share knowledge, have excellent customer service skills and be able to work alone or as part of a team.

Required Instructor Qualification:

- Dive Guide/Divemaster
- Open Water Instructor

Desirable Qualifications:

- Driving License
