Warrnambool Library is seeking a friendly, flexible, and community-minded individual to join our team as a Casual Customer and Community Services Library Officer.

In this dynamic role, you will:

- Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring every visitor enjoys a positive library experience
- Support our community’s learning and literacy by assisting customers with library resources, services, and technology
- Contribute to the delivery of engaging programs that promote literacy, lifelong learning, and social connection
- Perform core library duties, including customer service, lending, membership support, and program facilitation
- Assist with collection shelving and maintenance to ensure a welcoming and accessible library environment
- Play an active role in a forward-thinking, innovative library service that builds community capacity and connection

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills




- Comfortable with technology and passionate about helping others learn
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently
- Flexible and adaptable in a casual, on-call role

The Benefits

This is a casual position.
The current hourly rate is $43.82 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading).
