About the role

We're seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Townsville correctional facilities team, located in the heart of North Queensland. In this role, you'll work on a variety of projects, mainly in the correctional facility in Townsville, but a possibility of maintaining and improving schools, public facilities, and community buildings. You'll contribute to key community projects and collaborate with our government partners to expand QBuild's services, helping the region continue to thrive.

Key responsibilities

- Maintain and improve essential government infrastructure

- Work on projects in correctional facilities in Townsville

- Maintain and improve schools, public facilities, and community buildings

- Collaborate with government partners on community projects

- Support apprentices and share knowledge as part of developing the next generation of skilled workers

About you

- Valid Electrician Qualifications – minimum Certificate III in Electrotechnology - Electrician

- Hands-on with pride in quality workmanship

- Take responsibility for your safety and the safety of those around you

- Willingness to use digital tools

- Enjoy sharing your knowledge and supporting apprentices

- Eligible to work in Australia
