Cook / Chef Wanted – The Beaches Hotel/ Ryans Hotel, Thirroul
Two pubs in Thirroul with three great dining experiences, a classic pub menu, a contemporary pub/mexican menu and a bustling Italian wine bar and trattoria. We’re looking for an experienced Cook or Chef to join our team and help deliver great food to our locals and visitors alike.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to our recipes and specifications
Ensure dishes are prepared and served in a timely manner
Monitor food stock levels and notify management when supplies are low
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure accuracy and speed of service
Monitor quality and consistency of dishes leaving the kitchen




Work closely with Managers on food preparation and operational issues

Enforce hygiene regulations and kitchen standards

Requirements

Proven experience as a restaurant Cook or Chef
Solid knowledge of cooking techniques and Australian food safety regulations
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen under pressure

Must be available to work weekends and public holidays
