Job Description
The Opportunity
/n
An established Australian agribusiness with a longstanding presence in the agricultural sector is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead its Toowoomba-based operation. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a broad leadership position responsible for overseeing production, warehousing, logistics and administration functions while ensuring operational efficiency, profitability and exceptional customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Provide leadership, direction and development to production, warehouse, transport and administrative teams;
/n
- Drive operational performance, productivity and profitability across the site;
/n
- Maintain oversight of financial performance, including P&L; management, budgeting and cost control initiatives;
/n
- Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements;
/n
- Monitor operational metrics and deliver reporting and insights to senior leadership;
/n
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality and service delivery;
/n
- Work collaboratively with supply chain and procurement functions to optimise inventory management and meet customer demand;
/n
- Strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers and the broader agricultural community.

About You
/n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
/n
/n
- Demonstrated leadership experience within manufacturing operations, ideally within agribusiness or FMCG environments;
/n
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing operational and financial performance;
/n
- Proven capability leading medium-large, diverse teams and fostering a positive, accountable culture;
/n
- Experience driving continuous improvement and implementing operational change initiatives;
/n
- Sound understanding of inventory management systems, logistics and production planning processes;
/n
- Exemplary stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels;
/n
- Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety and compliance requirements within a manufacturing setting.
/n/n
Tertiary qualifications in Business Management will be highly regarded though are not essential.
/n
