The Opportunity
/n An established residential aged care provider is seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Officer to join its corporate quality team.
/n
Based at the organisation's head office in Gordon, you will support a portfolio of 4–5 residential aged care homes, working closely with site leadership teams to strengthen compliance, improve quality outcomes and embed sustainable change.
/n This is a hands‐on and relationship‐focused position suited to someone who enjoys partnering with homes, supporting staff and making quality and compliance feel practical and achievable.

What You'll Be Doing
/n
/n
- Conduct desktop and onsite quality and compliance audits
/n
- Support homes to maintain compliance with aged care legislation and standards
/n
- Identify gaps in practice and assist sites with corrective action plans
/n
- Build strong working relationships with site leaders and employees
/n
- Attend monthly quality and operational meetings
/n
- Provide education, guidance and coaching to home‐based teams
/n
- Support policy reviews, implementation and rollout
/n
- Assist with complaints, incidents and investigations
/n
- Prepare reports relating to audits, quality indicators and compliance
/n
- Support continuous improvement and change management initiatives
/n
- Monitor regulatory updates and communicate changes across the organisation
/n/n
About You To be considered for this position, you will have:
/n
/n
- Current AHPRA registration
/n
- At least two years of quality and compliance experience
/n
- Extensive experience within residential aged care
/n
- Robust knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
/n
- Demonstrated experience conducting audits and implementing improvements
/n
- Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
/n
- The ability to influence and support teams through change
/n
- A practical, approachable and solutions‐focused working style
/n
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel between homes
/n/n
Experience with Lee Care, electronic medication management systems or Moving on Audits would be highly regarded.
/n

/n Success in this position will be built around becoming a trusted support for the homes and developing positive relationships with leaders and employees.
/n
You will be able to identify areas for improvement while communicating change in a supportive and practical way. Rather than making compliance feel overwhelming, you will help teams understand what needs to change, why it matters and how they can achieve it.
