Our client is located in regional Newman, WA and mainly serving the mining industry in Pilbara Region. Due to continued growth in business, they are looking for a boilermaker/fabricator to join their dynamic team.

Job description and Experience required,

Welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering pieces of the boiler together and adding on necessary fittings and valves

Performing routine maintenance on boiler systems to ensure they are working properly and efficiently

Inspection of boiler systems, tanks, vats, and pressure vessels for operational performance and safety compliance

Reading and interpreting blueprints to understand the layout of pipes, water feed systems, and venting systems

Assembling boiler systems, using hand and power tools, plumb bobs, levels, wedges, and turnbuckles

Repairing and replacing broken/malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment

Testing and inspecting boiler systems for leaks or defects





Ensuring adherence to safety procedures and protocols while carrying out all tasks

Documenting all repair and maintenance activities for future reference

Ordering necessary parts and supplies to maintain inventory

Skills and qualifications required

AQF Certificate III or equivalent in Fabrication or minimum of 3 years of experience with relevant training

Proficiency in reading and fabricating from engineering drawings

Must have a robust safety focus and adhere to company WHS procedures.

Must be able to work as part of a team and demonstrate application of continuous improvements ideas.

Able to work unsupervised

Willing to work from site on FIFO/DIDO rosters
