About the role
Hud Elec Ballarat is a small, family-owned electrical business, and we're looking for one good A Grade sparky to grow with us.

You'll learn to price a job properly, organise your own materials, and schedule your own week. If that sounds like more responsibility than you've had before — good. That's the point. You quote it, you do the work, you share in the reward.
Key responsibilities
Residential electrical work — switchboard and safety upgrades, EV charger installs, additions and general domestic work
Quoting and pricing your own jobs
Organising your own materials and scheduling your own week
Supervising and training an apprentice safely
Working directly with customers in their homes to find the right solution for their situation
About you
Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence The ability to supervise and train an apprentice safely — this matters to us
Current driver's licence and White Card
Ambitious and wanting to learn the trade properly, not just clock hours
Reliable, presentable, and good with customers in their homes

About us
We're a small family team working for everyday mums and dads across Ballarat and surrounds. We miss the construction site banter, but we much prefer working in the homes of people we deal with directly.
We're growing, and the person we hire now grows with us. There's a real path here for someone who wants more than being another set of hands. No site politics.
