Te Āhuatunga a Te Tūranga/About The Role We are seeking an Advisor for the Operations and Service Delivery (OSD) group to join our team in the Office of the Chief Operating Officer (OCOO). As an Advisor you will support the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and report to the Director of the OCOO. You are a motivated individual who will enjoy the opportunity to work across OSD and the wider Ministry, providing analysis and advice on OSD operations. You'll also engage with Ministers' and judicial offices, and across the justice sector, responding to various requests, official correspondence and fulfilling reporting requirements. You'll be part of a fast-paced and lively team that provides comprehensive support for the delivery of the functions and responsibilities of the Chief Operating Officer, the OSD management team, and the Ministry.

We are looking for
- a good understanding of the Ministry, including OSD
- experience in providing trusted advice and contributing to significant pieces of work
- excellent communication skills
- a good understanding of the machinery of government and legislative processes
- demonstrated skills in forming and maintaining positive networks and partnerships
- the ability to successfully work through others
- the ability to work collaboratively, within a close-knit team and autonomously

Utu ā-tau/Salary The appointing salary for this role will be between $74,634 - $95,591 based on skills and experience.
