About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile All Rounder to join our team at Millie Weirs Fish & Chippery in Paradise Point, QLD 4216. This is a casual position offering flexibility and the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills in the hospitality industry. As an All Rounder, you'll play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our establishment across both front-of-house and back-of-house functions.

Your adaptability and willingness to support all areas of the business will be essential to our success.

Key responsibilities

- Providing friendly, productive and attentive service to customers at the counter and throughout the establishment
- Taking customer orders accurately and processing payments using our point-of-sale system
- Preparing and serving food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assisting in the kitchen with food preparation, plating and packaging as required
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the premises, including dining areas, counter and kitchen spaces
- Managing stock levels and assisting with inventory management and restocking
- Responding promptly to customer enquiries and resolving any issues with professionalism and courtesy




- Supporting team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Following all food safety, health and safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles, or a demonstrable willingness to learn
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to support all areas of the business as needed
- A positive attitude and team-oriented approach to working with colleagues
- Basic food handling knowledge or willingness to obtain food safety certification
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to commit to casual shifts as required
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment safely
