About the role

Join cohealth as an Allied Health Assistant and help deliver holistic, community-based healthcare as part of a cooperative multidisciplinary team. Working across Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Podiatry services, you will empower clients to achieve better health outcomes through evidence-based support and education.

Your duties will include

- Attend to site and home appointments for clients with a wide range of conditions, and provide land and water based exercise programs
- Liaise with external organisations for comprehensive follow ups for clients and carers
- Contribute to and participate in health education and promotion to maximise good health and prevent illnesses
- Maintain clients’ files and records, applying appropriate knowledge of funding requirements and agreements

Our ideal candidate:

- Completion of a Certificate IV Allied Health Assistant, or other relevant qualification.
- A valid Victorian drivers license
- Experience as Allied Health Assistant in a health setting
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the principles of community health and chronic disease management

Appointments are subject to satisfactory completion of a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, a Working with Children Check and a Pre Employment Declaration Form, together with evidence of the right to work in Australia and any required vaccinations.
