Redjak Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Asbestos Labourers and Supervisors A&B; Class to join our team in Willawong, Queensland. This full-time role will involve the safe handling, removal, and disposal of asbestos materials from residential and commercial properties.
What you'll be doing
- Safely removing and containing asbestos materials from various sites
- Supervising and coordinating the work of asbestos removal teams
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all asbestos removal activities
- Providing training and guidance to less experienced team members
- Liaising with clients, authorities, and other stakeholders as required
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years proven experience as an Asbestos Labourer or Supervisor with A&B; Class certification
- Thorough understanding of asbestos removal procedures and relevant regulations
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of health and safety
- Willingness to undergo regular training and development
- Valid White Card (Construction Induction Training)
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Full working rights in Australia (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
