Good with your hands? That is the number one thing we are looking for. We need an Assembly Technician to build and prep our mobile CCTV surveillance towers. You will drill, assemble and fit out towers in our workshop, keep stock under control in our asset management system, and work alongside our tower delivery driver to get units out the door on time.
Minimum 3 years hands-on assembly, fabrication or mechanical experience. Mining or resources background highly regarded. Free on site parking. Family founded and fast growing security business running technology well ahead of the rest of the industry.

About the role
This is a hands-on workshop role, and being good with your hands is the number one requirement. Above any ticket or any resume, we want someone who is naturally handy: quick with tools, accurate with a drill, and able to look at a pile of parts and see how it goes together.
You are the person who takes a tower from parts on the floor to a finished, tdispatch. You own the build, you own the stock behind it, and you work directly with our delivery driver so the right tower lands on the right site at the ri
What you will be doing
- Assembling mobile CCTV towers from components: drilling, bolting, mounting,
- Mounting and securing cameras, enclosures, solar panels, batteries and cont
- Running and terminating cabling, and dressing looms neatly and safely
- Pre-dispatch testing and quality checks so every tower leaves the yard read
- Staging completed towers for pickup and getting them dispatch ready
- Coordinating daily with our tower delivery driver on build priorities, picks
- Receiving deliveries, checking them against orders and reporting shortfalls
- Running stocktakes on components, consumables and completed units
- Entering and maintaining accurate stock and asset records in our asset mana
- Flagging low stock early so builds never stall waiting on parts
- Keeping the workshop clean, organised and secure, and working to WHS requirem
What you need
Above everything else: you have to be good with your hands. Tools should feelould be neat, and you should enjoy building things properly. That matters to us more than anything else on this list.

- Able to work from drawings, build sheets or assembly instructions
- Genuine attention to detail: our towers go out unattended to remote sites, the first time
- Discipline around stock and paperwork, and enough computer literacy to keep an asset management system accurate
- Physically fit, comfortable with lifting and working on your feet
- Current Australian driver licence
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently once you know the job

- Experience with 12V DC systems, solar panels or battery setups
- Experience with trailers, skids or towable plant
- Previous exposure to an inventory or asset management system
