Role Description The Asset Manager is a 12 month contract role based in the Greater Sydney Area. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial property assets, driving performance and value creation through strategic asset management initiatives.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing asset-level business plans, monitoring asset performance, and identifying opportunities to enhance value through leasing strategies, repositioning initiatives, and capital improvement projects. The role will involve analysing property financials, preparing asset performance reports, coordinating with property managers and leasing agents, and supporting acquisition and disposal activities through detailed underwriting and due diligence.

Working closely with the investment team, the Asset Manager will identify and implement value-add opportunities, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure alignment with fund strategies and investor objectives.



The role also contributes to risk management, compliance with fund mandates, and the ongoing enhancement of asset management processes and reporting frameworks.

Qualifications

- Solid asset management skills, including commercial property operations, leasing oversight, and implementation of asset-level business plans.
- Financial and analytical capabilities, such as cash flow modelling, budgeting, performance tracking, and interpreting market and portfolio data.
- Transaction support experience, including underwriting, due diligence, and coordination of acquisition and disposal activities.
- Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with investors, property managers, advisors, and internal investment teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing transparent reports, presentations, and investor updates.
- Relevant experience in commercial real estate, property funds, or investment management, ideally within the Australian market.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, property, commerce, economics, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple assets and priorities, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced investment environment.
