We’re looking for an experienced Accountant who is ready to take the next step into client management and leadership!

As an Assistant Accountant Client Manager at Factor1 Shepparton, you’ll work closely with Client Managers and Directors while taking greater ownership of client relationships, workflow, team support and portfolio management.

The Role You’ll support the management of a portfolio of business clients and help coordinate work across the accounting team.

Key responsibilities include

- Building strong client relationships
- Responding to client queries and keeping clients informed
- Coordinating workflow, priorities and deadlines
- Reviewing work for accuracy and completeness
- Supporting and guiding junior and intermediate accountants




- Delegating work and providing constructive feedback
- Managing WIP, billing and job progress
- Identifying issues early and escalating where required
- Supporting Client Managers with meetings and client growth opportunities

About You

Ideally, you will have:
- Around 5+ years’ Australian public practice experience
- Strong Business Services, accounting and taxation experience
- CA or CPA qualification, or be working toward it
- Experience reviewing or supervising the work of others
- Solid client communication skills
- Good organisation, delegation and time-management skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- A genuine interest in progressing into client management
