We are seeking a qualified Assistant Pools’ Coordinator for a full time, 10-month contract, with the possibility of extension subject to operational requirements. This position is based in Ernabella and offers a range of remote-area and SA public-sector benefits including:

About the role

Reporting to the Pool Operations Coordinator (POC), the Assistant Pools Coordinator supports the operational management of five community swimming pools. Working closely with school principals and pool managers,



the role helps ensure:

- Safe and compliant pool operations
- Effective risk management and quality assurance
- Appropriate lifeguard supervision
- Water quality monitoring and pool maintenance
- Continuity of operations during staffing shortages or absences

The Assistant Pools Coordinator may be deployed to any community pool to provide operational support when a pool manager is unavailable or when appropriately qualified pool staff cannot be sourced. In the absence of the POC, and when directed by the Assistant Director, Anangu Lands Partnership, the Assistant Pools Coordinator may undertake higher duties responsibilities.

What you will bring:

- Current nationally recognised Aquatic Technical Operator Skill Set (SISSS00131), or an equivalent superseded qualification with a willingness to upgrade to the current qualification.
- Current nationally recognised Pool Lifeguard Skill Set (SISSS00133).
- Willingness to undertake annual lifeguard re-accreditation through a registered training organisation.
