About the role

JAPASU by Sang is an independently owned Japanese restaurant in Zetland, built around exceptional food, drinks and genuine hospitality.

We’re looking for someone special to join our team - an experienced hospitality professional who’s ready for more ownership, more prospect and a place where their contribution genuinely matters.

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply be asked to run shifts. You’ll work closely with the owners, have a real voice in the business and be trusted to lead, contribute ideas and help us continue to grow.

And if you grow with us, there’s room for your role to grow too.

We’d love to meet you if you :

- Have at least 2 years’ experience as a Supervisor, Assistant Manager or similar role in a elegant casual or fine-dining restaurant
- Are confident leading a busy floor while keeping service warm, polished and personal
- Have solid wine knowledge and a genuine interest in food & beverage




- Naturally take ownership and notice the little things without needing to be asked
- Enjoy bringing the best out of a team
- Want to contribute, learn and build something long-term
- Sake knowledge is a bonus, but curiosity is more important - we’ll teach you the rest.
- Immediate start available.

What you’ll get : From $70,000 + super, negotiable based on experience and capability.

You’ll work directly with passionate, hands-on owners who will invest in your development with ongoing training.
