The Associate Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for coordinating clinical operations, providing shift leadership, and supporting the professional development of nursing staff. Key Responsibilities Include

- Providing clinical leadership and operational management during allocated shifts.

- Coordinating patient flow and bed management to optimise patient care and service delivery.

- Supporting and mentoring nursing staff, graduates, and students.

- Promoting evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.

- Ensuring compliance with organisational policies, standards, and accreditation requirements.

- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.

About The Candidate

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

- Demonstrated clinical experience in medical and/or renal nursing

- Previous leadership experience or experience acting in a senior nursing role.

- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational abilities.

- Commitment to patient-centred care, safety, and quality improvement.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting
