Role Description This full-time, on-site Audiologist role is based in various locations,. The Audiologist will conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, interpret diagnostic test results, and develop individualized care plans to address patients’ hearing and balance needs. Daily responsibilities include fitting and programming hearing devices, providing counseling and education on hearing health, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care with vision and broader med-tech solutions.
The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, adhering to regulatory and clinical standards, and contributing to continuous improvement in patient experience and clinical outcomes. The Audiologist will engage in ongoing professional development and may participate in clinical initiatives that align with EssilorLuxottica’s commitment to innovation and human empowerment.
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Audiology and current registration or eligibility to practice in Australia.
- Demonstrated experience in diagnostic audiology, hearing assessments, and device fitting in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Solid patient-centered communication skills, including the ability to explain complex clinical information in accessible terms.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with eye care and other health professionals in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Proficiency in using audiological equipment and clinical software, with attention to accuracy and data integrity.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
- Experience in retail health or integrated care settings is an advantage, particularly within hearing or vision services.
- Availability to work full time on-site, with flexibility to support patient and business needs.
