Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Audiologist / Audiometrist role based in Port Lincoln, SA. The role involves conducting comprehensive hearing assessments, including diagnostic tests, for clients of varying ages and needs. The Audiologist / Audiometrist will recommend, fit, program, and verify hearing devices, and provide counseling and education to clients and their families about hearing health and device use.

Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical records, preparing reports, and coordinating follow-up appointments to support ongoing hearing care. The role also includes collaborating with other health professionals,



participating in community outreach, and contributing to continuous improvement of clinical services.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated clinical skills in audiological or audiometric assessment, hearing aid fitting, and rehabilitation.
- Strong client service skills, including clear communication, empathy, and the ability to build trust with diverse clients.
- Organizational and time management abilities to manage appointments, documentation, and follow-up care efficiently.
- Comfort with clinical and practice management systems, including basic computer literacy and electronic record keeping.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Audiology, Audiometry, or a related discipline, with relevant professional registration or eligibility.
- Ability to work independently in office while collaborating effectively within a small multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
- Experience in regional or community health settings and a current driver’s license are beneficial.
