We are looking for an experienced bartender to join our busy team. Your main duties will be to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers, provide excellent customer service, and help create a welcoming atmosphere. You will be responsible for taking drink orders, mixing beverages accurately, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and skilled manner
- Take beverage and food orders and serve them promptly
- Mix, garnish, and prepare drinks according to recipes or customer requests
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar, glassware, utensils, and equipment
- Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and supplies
- Process cash and card payments accurately
- Monitor customer behavior and follow responsible alcohol service practices
- Work with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
About you
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of drink recipes, bar tools, and beverage service
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift supplies when needed
- Bartending experience preferred
- Keno, TAB & RCG licenses preferred
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certification required
