What began as a grassroots movement has evolved into a trusted youth wellbeing organisation supporting young people and families across the Southern Gold Coast through early intervention programs, mentoring, education, lived experience support and community connection.

As demand for our services continues to grow, we are entering an exciting new chapter focused on sustainable growth, stronger governance, expanded impact and long-term community outcomes.

We are seeking values aligned Volunteer Board Directors who want to contribute their expertise, leadership and insight to an organisation making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

About the Role

Our Board plays a critical role in providing strategic leadership, governance oversight and stewardship as Heal.ed Tribe continues to grow.

Working alongside the CEO and our Founder, Board Directors support the organisation's long term vision while ensuring strong governance, accountability and sustainability.





This is an opportunity to help shape the future direction of a respected and growing organisation while contributing to meaningful social impact within the community.

Current Strategic Priorities

As a Board Director, you will help guide the organisation as we:

- Expand youth wellbeing and early intervention programs
- Increase access to lived experience mentoring and support pathways
- Strengthen organisational systems, governance and sustainability
- Grow partnerships with schools, businesses, government and community organisations
- Develop innovative social enterprise initiatives to create long term financial sustainability
- Increase our reach and impact for young people and families across the region

Skills and Experience We Are Seeking

We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Governance and board leadership
- Finance, accounting or audit
- Legal, compliance or risk management
- Business strategy and organisational growth
- Marketing, communications and brand development
- Fundraising, philanthropy or corporate partnerships
- Social enterprise development
- Human resources and people leadership
- Youth services, education, mental health or community development

Previous board experience is welcomed but not essential.



We also encourage applications from individuals with lived experience, diverse backgrounds and perspectives that strengthen our ability to serve young people and our community.

Commitment The position is voluntary and unpaid. Directors are expected to:

- Attend bi monthly Board meetings
- Review Board papers and contribute to strategic discussions
- Attend the Annual General Meeting
- Support organisational events and advocacy activities where possible
- Serve an initial three year term
