We're looking for a skilled Heavy Truck & Trailer Boiler Maker / Fabricator to assist our Minto team, in maintaining our fleet of equipment.

About the role

· Minor and major accident repairs on a variety of semi-trailers

· MIG welding of mild steel (with consistent, structurally sound welds)

· Reading and working from basic drawings, measurements, and instructions

· Structural repairs and modifications to meet fleet and compliance requirements

· Assisting with preventative maintenance and inspections of trailers





· Identifying defects and reporting safety or compliance concerns

· Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop workplace

· Working in line with WHS requirements, protected work procedures, and company policies

Skills and experience

· Trade qualification in Vehicle Body Building/Welding or equivalent experience

· Proven experience fabricating and repairing trailers or similar heavy equipment

· Driver’s licence

· Confined space certificate

· Working at heights certificate

· Strong MIG welding skills

· Good understanding of workshop safety and manual handling

· Produce work that is structurally sound, neat, and fit for purpose
