Role Description This part-time Business Analyst (Entry / Junior) role is a hybrid position based in Melbourne, VIC, with a mix of on-site work and work from home.
The Business
Analyst will support the analysis of business processes, gather and document business requirements, and assist in identifying opportunities for operational and commercial improvements. Daily tasks include collecting and interpreting data, preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders, and contributing to the design of easy process enhancements. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating findings clearly, and maintaining accurate documentation to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based recommendations.
- Candidates should possess foundational Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills to gather, document, and validate stakeholder needs.
- Candidates should possess Business Process understanding to help map workflows, identify inefficiencies, and support process improvements.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with team members, present findings, and engage with stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Data Analytics, or a related field are beneficial.
- Familiarity with basic data analysis tools (e.g., spreadsheets, reporting software) and an interest in the food or FMCG industry are advantageous.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team, with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn in an entry-level environment.
