Role Description The Business Development Manager - SYDNEY - NDIS is a full-time, on site role based in North Sydney, NSW. This position is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing partnerships with NDIS participants, support coordinators, plan managers and relevant agencies to grow GPU’s transport services.

Day to day activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting meetings and presentations, preparing tailored proposals, and negotiating agreements that align with NDIS requirements and organisational goals. The role involves collaborating with operations and customer service teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations, tracking performance against targets, and reporting on sales and market trends.

The Business Development





Manager also contributes to local marketing initiatives, attends industry events and networking opportunities, and provides feedback to enhance products and services for the NDIS segment.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in business development, account management, or sales, ideally within disability services, NDIS, health, transport, or related sectors.
- Strong skills in relationship building, stakeholder engagement, and client management, with the ability to work effectively with NDIS participants, support coordinators, and organisational partners.
- Solid commercial acumen and negotiation skills, including experience preparing proposals, managing pipelines, and meeting growth and revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain services clearly, adapt messaging to different audiences, and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
- Understanding of the NDIS framework, person-centered approaches, and accessibility considerations, or a strong willingness to learn and engage with these areas.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, work autonomously on-site, and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard office software (e.g., Excel, Word, email, and online meeting tools) to manage leads, contacts, and reporting.
