Opportunity Location: ACT-Hybrid. Versatile working arrangements, the exact number of office days to be agreed by both parties. Additional hours may be approved at the buyer's discretion.

Contract Period: 12 months + 2*12 Months further Extension

We are seeking experienced Business Intelligence Specialists to deliver a production‑ready Qlik Cloud environment.

· Qlik Cloud will be an uplift of the Agency to an enterprise Cloud BI solution.

· This project is a technology uplift, not an operating model shift.

· Qlik is the Agencies enterprise BI tool, it is delivered centrally as an Agency wide enabling service.

· Qlik Cloud will be supported by well established Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory technology

· These roles will report to the projects technical lead.

· They will be responsible for ensuring both technical staff and end-users receive the required documentation and training.

This engagement will include

- Migration of Qlik Sense Apps from on-premise infrastructure to Qlik Cloud
- Implementation of a governance framework
- Replacement of legacy static reporting capability currently delivered via Qlik nPrinting
- Transfer of capability to NIAA business‑as‑usual support

Key duties and responsibilities The successful candidates will be responsible for delivery of the following:

Application migration

- Migration and enhancement of existing data models
- Migration of in-scope Qlik applications from on-premise to Qlik Cloud
- Validation of functionality, performance and data integrity

Platform capability replacement





- Replacement of in-scope Qlik n Printing reports with equivalent Qlik Cloud reporting solutions
- Configuration of equivalent GeoAnalytics functionality within Qlik Cloud

Governance model implementation

- Define and implement change and release management processes
- Implementation of the agreed role-based access control model
- Configuration of audit and monitoring capabilities

Standards and documentation

- Development standards and naming conventions
- Data model and dashboard design standards
- Administration runbooks and support documentation

Training and transition

- User training materials and sessions
- Administrator training materials and handover sessions
- Knowledge transfer and supporting documentation to enable transition to BAU implementation and business ownership

Technical skills – Qlik , Microsoft SQL Server

Essential criteria

- Strong track record developing interactive Qlik dashboards and reports.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing physical data models in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Highly developed data communication skills, including the ability to explain data concepts to audiences of varying data literacy levels.
- Understanding of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of, the sensitivities associated with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander data, and the ability to communicate and manage such data in a respectful, appropriate, and culturally informed manner.

Desirable criteria

- Demonstrated Qlik Cloud experience in Tenant administration, including the management of spaces, roles and access permissions
- Demonstrated Qlik Cloud experience in Qlik Automate, including automation workflows, notifications, integration and webhooks
