About the Company

Sutra Services Pty Ltd provides property maintenance, small‑scale construction, and council project works across Melbourne. We are expanding our team and seeking a qualified Carpenter to support ongoing project demand.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to carry out construction, installation, repair, and maintenance tasks across residential, commercial, and council sites. This is a full‑time, ongoing position working 38 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

- Construct, install, renovate, and repair timber structures and fixtures.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Install doors, windows, frames, partitions, flooring, cabinetry, and hardware.
- Build and install formwork for concrete foundations and slabs.
- Inspect existing structures and perform corrective repairs.




- Ensure all work complies with Australian building codes and WHS requirements.

Skills & Experience

- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification.
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in residential or commercial carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Competence with carpentry tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Knowledge of Australian building standards and WHS practices.
- Solid problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Driver’s licence preferred.

Salary & Conditions

- Salary range: $80,000 – $85,000 per annum , depending on experience.
- Full‑time, 38 hours per week.
- Melbourne metropolitan area.
