We are now looking for a full-time CarSauce Sell Advisor to join our team in Brighton East.

About the Role The CarSauce Sell Advisor is responsible for helping customers sell or trade in their vehicle through CarSauce Sell.

You will work with warm inbound leads from customers who have already approached CarSauce wanting to sell or trade their car. You will qualify their vehicle, collect the required details and images, work with our wholesale network to obtain competitive offers, present those offers to customers and guide them through to settlement.

You will also work closely with the wider CarSauce sales team, taking ownership of vehicle trade-in leads generated through customers purchasing their next car with us.

This is a phone-based, customer-facing sales role suited to someone who understands used cars, knows the Australian used-car market and enjoys building relationships and closing deals.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Respond quickly to CarSauce Sell and trade-in enquiries by phone, SMS and email
- Build rapport with customers and understand their vehicle, timeframe and expectations
- Qualify vehicles and collect required information, images and supporting details
- Submit vehicles to our wholesale network and manage incoming offers
- Present offers clearly and confidently to customers
- Handle questions and objections and help suitable offers progress to completed sales
- Follow up customers consistently throughout the sales process
- Manage accepted deals through settlement and vehicle handover




- Handle trade-in leads generated through the wider CarSauce sales team
- Maintain accurate customer, vehicle and deal information within our CRM
- Work towards clear conversion, response time, follow-up and customer satisfaction KPIs
- Provide feedback on customer trends, lead quality and opportunities to improve CarSauce Sell

What We’re Looking For

- Relevant dealership experience is required, ideally across used-car sales, trade-ins, vehicle appraisals or acquisitions
- Strong knowledge of used cars and the Australian used-car market
- Confidence discussing vehicle condition, value and market positioning with customers
- Understanding of the factors that influence retail, trade-in and wholesale vehicle values
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers over the phone
- Ability to build rapport and trust quickly
- Strong sales and objection-handling skills without relying on high-pressure tactics
- Excellent organisation and follow-up discipline
- Comfortable managing a high volume of leads at different stages of the sales process
- Commercially minded and comfortable working towards targets and KPIs
- Confident using CRM systems and digital communication tools
- Reliable, accountable and able to work effectively within a wider sales team
- Able to work full time from our Brighton East office
