Focus of the Role The Chief of Staff – PCC (People, Culture & Capability) role is focused on enabling the success of the PCC Group Executive (GE) and function. The role partners closely with the PCC Senior Leadership Team to inform priorities, and support their delivery, in addition to supporting broader functional alignment and engagement. The role will help shape the future of PCC and maximise value drawing on all the diverse capabilities within PCC. As a trusted advisor to the GE PCC, you will also support prioritisation and impact, including through effective planning, preparation and delivery of internal and external engagements.
What You’ll Do
As Chief of Staff – PCC (People, Culture & Capability), you will apply your strategic and systems thinking, executive influence, engagement and change skills to support the impact, engagement and evolution of PCC through the following responsibilities:
- Partnering with the GE and senior leadership team to define and execute strategic priorities that advance the PCC agenda and deliver business outcomes
- Supporting understanding, engagement and transformation within PCC aligned to delivery of future goals.
- Identifying emerging opportunities, risks and systemic challenges, leveraging data-driven insights to develop recommendations, and drive continuous improvement
- Building trusted relationships across senior leadership, and partnering closely with relevant internal stakeholders to drive alignment, influence decision-making and enhance PCC's internal and external profile
- Strengthening our external presence and thought leadership helping position us as leaders in AI and future workforce discussions.
- Translating strategy into compelling executive communications, thought leadership and engagement opportunities that strengthen organisational impact and reputation.
- Supporting the GE in developing an effective operating rhythm with the SLT to strengthen team effectiveness and impact and support delivery of PCC priorities, and ensuring follow through on key actions and decisions
- Ensuring the Group Executive’s time is spent in the optimal way and that she is prepared for critical internal and external engagements, representing and advancing the strategic priorities of the function.
- Supporting the GE with the performance management process and recognition program delivery for PCC
- Supporting effective engagement with the CEOLT, Board and People and Remuneration Committee, including preparation of high quality papers.

About You The Chief of Staff - PCC is a pivotal role that requires a dynamic and strategic leader. You’ll be comfortable with some ambiguity, ready to manage changing priorities while being a trusted advisor. To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Demonstrated experience leading change or workforce strategy initiatives.
- Extensive experience partnering with Executive leaders to shape and deliver strategic business outcomes.
- Solid understanding of people, culture, capability, workforce planning or organisational effectiveness disciplines, ideally from within PCC/HR.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication and executive advisory skills, with the ability to translate vision into action.
- Strong governance, planning and operating rhythm experience, including agenda setting, decision tracking, follow-up and performance cadence.
- High discretion, judgement and comfort working with confidential matters
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships across organisations.
- Degree qualification in Business, Human Resources, Commerce or a related field.
