The Service KU West Pymble Preschool is a lovely community based centre with a dedicated and passionate team who care for children from 3 to 5 years of age.

The preschool lives and breathes sustainability and consistently promotes it to families and the local community. To acknowledge their exceptional work in this space, the preschool was a finalist at the prestigious 2021 HESTA Early Childhood Education and Care Awards in the ‘Advancing Pedagogy and Practice’. The preschool was recognised for embedding sustainability into their pedagogy and practice, contributing to their vision for a better, healthier world.

KU West Pymble has a special interest in wildlife protection and interaction. We also encourage children to reduce our carbon footprint through incorporating sustainable practices throughout the service The Role

Permanent, part-time position working 7.6 hours per day as a Certificate III qualified educator on Monday and Tuesday during term time.





This is a great opportunity for an educator who values strong relationships with children and families, is keen to continue developing their skills, and would like to be part of a passionate, capable and dedicated preschool team.

You will also have access to the KU casual pool for non-contracted days.

Candidates Require

- Australian working rights
- A current and valid NSW Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA recognised Certificate III qualification
- A National Child Safety Training Certificate
- A completed training in Child Protection (CHCPRT025) and an understanding of the legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
