Jeffery and Ree Clinical Psychologists and Sleep Matters
West Perth
Clinical Psychologist | Collegial team with full admin support | Strong peer supervision & mentoring | Opportunity for high-level training in sleep psychology
Jeffery & Ree Clinical Psychologists is a well-established private psychology practice in West Perth and Como. We are currently looking to welcome a clinical psychologist (possibly a clinical psychology registrar near endorsement) who values excellent clinical work, collegiality and being part of a thoughtful, well-run practice.
The role is ideally 2-4 days per week. Whether you’re looking to complement your existing work or for a standalone role, we offer flexibility, career development, and a strong team to support your journey.
We are open to discussing contractor and employee models and working with the right candidate to establish an arrangement that suits us both.
You'll enjoy full administrative support from a wonderful, knowledgeable team, a diverse referral base, and lovely clinic spaces. You will benefit from blocks of time for admin and clear expectations around client numbers.
About us:
Our team provides high-quality psychological care to children, adolescents, and adults across a broad range of presenting concerns. Our purpose, helping people thrive, applies not only to our clients but also to the clinicians and staff who work with us.
We have worked hard to create a practice where clinicians can focus on doing rewarding clinical work within a supportive professional community. There is a strong culture of consultation, shared learning and generosity between colleagues, alongside the autonomy to develop your own clinical interests and areas of expertise.
We pride ourselves on being an innovative, evidence-based practice. We actively engage in research,
employ systems for monitoring client outcomes, and continually seek to improve our clinical services.
We are also well known for our work in behavioural sleep medicine (eg. insomnia, nightmare disorder, hypersomnia, & circadian rhythm difficulties), with many referrals specifically related to sleep concerns. Our Sleep Matters service (www.sleepmattersperth.com.au) is led by Dr Melissa Ree, an internationally recognised expert in the field. We offer structured training and high-level supervision to support clinicians in developing expertise in this rewarding area.
What we offer you:
- A genuine desire to understand your goals and motivations in your work, and to support you in achieving these.
- Work from home admin time for higher FTE roles (0.7FTE and above)
- A lovely and professional physical working environment, parking included.
- The opportunity to build a diverse and/or niche caseload.
- A supportive and friendly group of fellow clinical psychologists with team support via regular, scheduled and informal peer supervision, and training (that can be counted towards Continuing Professional Development requirements).
- You will be supported by an experienced full-time administrative team and well-established practice systems,
allowing you to spend less time managing the mechanics of private practice and more time focused on your clinical work. Our systems support both in-clinic and telehealth care.
- Access to online clinical resources, including an online staff portal with tip sheets, treatment manuals and clinical research papers. Growing clinic library with over 160 book titles plus online resources.
- Strong remuneration and processes for you to earn in line with your chosen level of clinical activity.
- Training and supervision package in assessing and treating Insomnia and other sleep disorders. Our behavioural sleep medicine training and supervision is valued at over $4000.
We’re looking for clinical psychologists with:
- We would particularly like to hear from clinical psychologists (and clinical psychology registrars nearing endorsement) who care deeply about the quality of their work, enjoy learning and developing as clinicians, and value being part of a supportive professional team.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to helping others through evidence-based practice.
- Ability to work with initiative, autonomy, and reliability.
- An ethos of innovation and continual learning, as well as helping others learn.
- A genuine passion for contributing to the team culture of J&R; Clinical Psychology.
- Interest in working with child clients is not essential but welcomed.
If this sounds like the kind of practice in which you would enjoy working, we would love to hear from you. To express your interest, please send your CV or get in touch for a confidential, informal conversation with Dr Melissa Ree at
[email protected].
