The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, and helping maintain a clean and welcoming café environment.
Key Responsibilities
Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
- Prepare and serve food, including breakfast, sandwiches, cakes, and other café items.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the café, kitchen, and service areas.
- Restock supplies and assist with daily café setup and closing duties.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team during busy service periods.
- Assist with other general café duties as required.
Skills & Experience
- Previous café, hospitality, or barista experience is preferred.
- Barista skills and knowledge of coffee preparation are an advantage.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and well presented.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Food safety knowledge or certification is an advantage.
