Whether our clients are selling via DTC, retail or wholesale channels, domestically or abroad, we support them with everything from day-to-day commercial strategy to M&A; transactions and complex litigation.

Our Legal & Regulatory team is growing rapid, and we expect to open a Commercial Lawyer role (2-4 years PQE) in the near term. The work you’d be doing

This role primarily supports our ongoing subscription clients and their respective founders and management teams. You’ll be embedded as an extension of their own teams, in the room as decisions are made and along for the ride as their brands scale:

- Structuring and negotiating the commercial deals that matter, such as co-manufacturing, supply, distribution and services agreements across DTC, retail and wholesale channels, often with cross-border elements as our clients expand abroad.
- Brand protection and IP strategy, including trade mark clearance, registration, portfolio management and licensing arrangements.




- Navigating advertising and consumer laws, including guidance on advertising, packaging and marketing claims, reviewing e-commerce terms and policies, and the legal questions that sit behind every new product launch.
- Employment and workplace matters, including designing and implementing management incentive plans, preparing employment agreements and building the workplace policies that scale with a growing team.
- M&A; and corporate advisory work, from capital raises through to full or partial exits and acquisitions, working closely with our M&A; lawyers and Ranged’s Corporate Advisory team on active deals.
- Real-time strategic counsel to founders and management teams, where your advice directly shapes commercial decisions as they’re being made.

About you

✅ 2-4 years PQE in commercial law, with strong drafting and contract review skills and a broad interest in commercial practice rather than a narrow specialisation.

✅ Sharp legal reasoning and commercial instincts: you cut through complexity, spot the issues that matter and understand that legal advice exists to serve business outcomes.

✅ Excellent communication skills:



you’re confident with clients and colleagues alike, and you enjoy building relationships.

✅ Drive, adaptability and a team-first mentality: you’re ambitious, you thrive on variety and pace, and you make the people around you better.

Bonus points: Experience in consumer and retail, FMCG or DTC.
