Role Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Compliance Team Lead to oversee compliance activities, strengthen internal controls, and support the organization in meeting applicable regulatory and internal requirements. The role involves leading compliance processes, monitoring regulatory developments, assessing risks, and ensuring effective implementation of compliance policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include leading and coordinating compliance reviews, conducting risk assessments, monitoring business activities for regulatory adherence, reviewing policies and procedures, and supporting internal and external audits. The role also involves investigating potential compliance issues, developing remediation plans, maintaining compliance documentation, preparing management reports, and providing guidance to internal teams on regulatory and policy requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of compliance principles, regulatory requirements, risk management, and internal controls.




- Familiarity with AML/KYC, data protection, corporate governance, or industry-specific regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
- Experience in compliance monitoring, risk assessments, policy development, and regulatory reporting.
- Strong understanding of compliance processes, audit procedures, and issue remediation.
- Excellent analytical and investigative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate requirements into practical business processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High level of integrity, professional judgment, confidentiality, and accountability.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CCEP, or equivalent are an advantage.
