Weathertex is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Support Team Member to join our team at our Raymond Terrace manufacturing site in the Hunter Region.

This is a full-time position and an excellent opportunity to join a proudly Australian-owned manufacturer, working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Weathertex manufactures 100% Australian-made timber building products and is committed to creating sustainable building solutions that help transform the way Australia builds.

About the Role As a key point of contact for our customers, you will play an important role in delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial enquiry through to order and delivery.

This is a hands-on and varied role where you will support customers, solve problems, process orders and work closely with our internal teams to achieve the best possible outcomes.

You will be part of our close-knit Customer Support team, working collaboratively with Sales, Manufacturing,



Planning and Logistics to keep things moving and ensure our customers receive the high level of service they expect from Weathertex.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include

- Being a friendly and professional first point of contact for our customers
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email
- Processing customer orders and completing accurate data entry
- Understanding customer needs and providing practical solutions
- Managing and resolving customer issues and escalated enquiries
- Following up on enquiries, orders, deliveries and customer requests
- Working closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Planning and Logistics
- Providing general administrative support to the Customer Support team
- Building strong and positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Taking ownership of customer enquiries and following them through to resolution

About You We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, solving problems and getting things done.

You will be confident communicating with a wide range of people, have excellent attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a team. You will bring a positive attitude, good commercial awareness and the ability to remain calm,



organised and professional in a busy environment.

Most importantly, you will be someone who takes ownership, looks for solutions and genuinely cares about providing a great customer experience.

To Be Successful, You Will Have

- Previous experience in a customer service, customer support or administration role
- A professional, friendly and confident phone manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong active listening and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing inbound and outbound customer communication
- Confidence dealing with customer concerns and escalated enquiries
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good computer and data entry skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative and team-focused approach
- Reliability, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- A positive, solutions-focused attitude
- The ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately
