Role Description The Data Analyst (Entry / Junior) will support the collection, cleaning, and analysis of data related to Dutch-built yachts and industry metrics. Typical day-to-day tasks include validating data from multiple sources, building basic reports and dashboards, and assisting in the interpretation of trends for internal and external stakeholders. The role involves documenting data processes, maintaining data quality standards, and collaborating with colleagues to improve data structures and workflows.

This is a part-time position based in Sydney, NSW, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some tasks to be completed from home. The analyst will work closely with senior team members to learn best practices and grow technical and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics abilities for exploring and interpreting datasets.




- Candidates should possess a basic understanding of Statistics and Data Modeling to support quantitative analysis and structured data design.
- Candidates should possess transparent Communication skills to present findings, document methods, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with spreadsheet tools and introductory experience with analytics or visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, or similar).
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, an organized work approach, and the ability to learn new tools and methodologies quickly.
- Relevant education in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (completed or in progress) is beneficial.
- Interest in the maritime or yachting industry, and experience working with relational databases or basic SQL, is an advantage.
