Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant

Stones Corner Dental is looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a well-established local dental practice in Stones Corner, and we take pride in providing high-quality, personalised care in a friendly and welcoming environment.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work and is comfortable moving between reception and chairside assisting. If you're organised, caring, reliable and enjoy being part of a close-knit team, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

This is a varied role where you'll be an key part of the day-to-day running of the practice.

Your responsibilities will include

- Welcoming patients and creating a friendly, positive experience from the moment they arrive
- Managing appointments, phone calls, emails and patient enquiries
- Processing payments, health fund claims and general reception duties
- Assisting our dentists with chairside procedures
- Preparing surgeries and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and infection control
- Sterilising instruments and maintaining sterilisation procedures
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
- Ordering and managing dental supplies
- Helping the practice run smoothly and supporting your colleagues when needed

About you

We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in dental reception, dental assisting, or ideally both
- Is confident communicating with patients and colleagues
- Has a warm, friendly and professional manner
- Is organised and able to manage competing priorities




- Pays attention to detail and takes pride in doing things properly
- Is reliable, proactive and willing to pitch in wherever needed
- Understands the importance of patient confidentiality and infection control
- Is comfortable using computers and dental practice management software
- Enjoys working as part of a team
