Reporting directly to the Director, Learning and Innovation, you'll champion innovative learning experiences that prepare students to navigate emerging technologies, embrace change, and build sustainable careers in the creative arts.

About Us The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) is Australia’s premier training ground for future leaders and practitioners in the dramatic arts. Located at Kensington in Sydney, it is a Centre of excellence in education and training. NIDA is unique in the world for its practice-based and industry-relevant training in the range that it offers which includes Acting, Design, Costume, Properties and Objects, Technical Theatre and Stage Management, Scenic Construction, Writing for Performance, Directing and Cultural Leadership.

About the Role

This strategic leadership role drives curriculum innovation across NIDA’s tertiary portfolio, embedding AI, screen and emerging technologies into learning design to ensure graduates are future-ready. Working closely with industry and academic stakeholders, the role leads course development, curriculum review, research initiatives, and strategic partnerships, positioning NIDA as a global leader in innovative dramatic arts education.

About You

We're seeking an cutting-edge education leader with experience in creative industries and higher education, who can drive future-focused curriculum design and embed emerging technologies into industry-ready learning. You'll be a collaborative communicator,



experienced in leading change, developing others, and preparing students for success in an evolving creative landscape.

Summary

This is a full-time 2-year contract.

The base annual salary range is up to $155,000 + 12% Superannuation, based on a 38-hour working week.

- You are required to have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this role. This role is not suited to a working holiday visa holder.
