Role: DevOps Engineer

Location: Sydney

Clearance: Baseline

Role and responsibilities

- Application Deployment, Production Support
- Redhat & CentOS (Linux) Operating System.
- DevOps tools and technologies like GIT, CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps (AzDO)
- Containerized microservice architecture using Docker, Kubernetes, Ranchers, Helm Charts, Harbor.
- Configuration management tool like Ansible & Terraform.
- Databases like Oracle 10g and NoSQL Databases like MongoDB.
- Apache, Tomcat, IBM MQ, ELK (Elasticsearch-Logstash-Kibana), SQL Developer, Jxplorer, MongoDB Compass, Apache Kafka.
- Handling of FT, NFT and Dev Environments
- Deployment using manual and Automation Tools
- Maintain Jenkins for dev CI/CD pipeline
- Maintained build and release notes for dev team
- Good hands-on knowledge of Source Code Management (Version Control System) tools like Git and Subversion
- Experience with automation/ integration tools like Jenkins
- Knowledge of major cloud service providers, like AWS, Azure etc.




- Valuable understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Programmable Infrastructure), and how you can achieve that by using tools like Ansible.
- Knowledge of software containerization platforms like Docker.
- In country Deployment of Pre-production and Production Environment
- System and Application Troubleshooting, monitoring logs and other related issues. Collaborated with developers to implement changes to websites on development and production servers.
- Write and maintain shell scripts for automating teams daily work.
- Handling calls and meetings with clients related to technical issues
- Working on Jira and ServiceNow tickets
- Preparing documentation for Installation guide, release notes and application migration guide.
- Mentoring new team members through shadowing
- Providing support for various application-level issues as and when issue comes.
