This permanent executive opportunity is ideal for an accomplished finance leader to report directly to the Executive Director & CFO, shaping investment strategy, overseeing taxation services, and driving financial governance across a major managed fund portfolio.

Key Responsibilities In this Director role, you will steer the strategic direction of investment management, taxation, and financial services while driving high-level corporate governance across the organisation.

- Provide expert investment advice, briefs, and reports on fund compliance, market trends, and performance to executive leadership and oversight boards.
- Manage investment strategies for key organisational funds, including equities, fixed interest, managed funds, and superannuation.
- Oversee taxation services, ensuring high-level expert advice is provided on complex corporate, estate, and capacity-related tax matters.
- Lead, empower, and mentor team members responsible for fund management, taxation, and financial advisory functions.




- Maintain deep contemporary knowledge of legislative, regulatory, and financial market environments.

About You

- Experience as a strategic leader with executive-level analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Extensive background in complex investment management, financial governance, and regulatory/taxation frameworks.
- Strong ability to foster high-performing, ethical teams and drive continuous business improvement.
- An undergraduate or higher degree in Business Management, Accounting, or Economics is highly desirable.
