Male Disability Support Worker – Ballarat | Immediate Start

T2 Care Support Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced male Disability Support Worker to support a young male participant in Ballarat, VIC. This is a casual position with an immediate start.

About the role

We are looking for someone strong, confident, physically fit and highly active who has proven experience supporting participants with:

- Complex support needs
- Behaviours of Concern (BOCs)
- Complex and forensic behaviours/backgrounds
- Challenging and high-risk situations
- De-escalation and positive behaviour support strategies

Personality and compatibility are very significant. The participant prefers someone younger, talkative, outgoing and engaging who can match his energy and build a strong professional rapport. Ideally, you will share some of his interests:

? Cars | ? E-bikes | ? Fishing | ?️ Gym | ? Gaming | ? Outdoors

Key responsibilities

- Provide person-centred daily living and community support
- Support community access, appointments and recreational activities
- Encourage independence and life skills
- Follow Behaviour Support Plans and support strategies
- Manage and de-escalate BOCs safely and professionally
- Complete accurate shift notes and incident reports




- Maintain professional boundaries and communicate with the wider support team

What we're looking for

- Male support worker
- Previous disability support experience is essential
- Experience with complex and forensic behaviours and BOCs is essential
- Physically fit, active and confident
- Talkative, outgoing and able to build rapport
- Calm, resilient and able to manage challenging situations
- Reliable, punctual and flexible with availability
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Relevant disability/community services qualifications highly regarded
