This is a part-time Exercise Physiology role with the prospect to grow toward full-time as the practice develops. You will deliver individualised, evidence-based exercise prescription and inclusive care that improves clients' physical health, mental well-being, and quality of life, while maintaining strong client retention and contributing to the sustainable growth of the clinical team.
Key responsibilities
- Managing and progressing your own Exercise Physiology caseload
- Delivering safe, individualised, evidence-based exercise prescription
- Completing accurate clinical documentation and administration on time
- Building strong client relationships that support retention and continuity of care
- Maintaining agreed caseload capacity and clinical performance standards
- Contributing to appropriate word-of-mouth and professional referral growth
- Working collaboratively with the clinical team as the clinic grows
About you
- Sound understanding of anatomy, joint actions and safe exercise selection
- Able to regress, progress, substitute and modify exercises appropriately
- Can write practical, individualised exercise programs and monitor client response
- Comfortable seeking support, receiving feedback and applying it to improve practice
- Communicates clearly and adapts cues when the first explanation does not work
Required qualifications and checks
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Current accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with ESSA
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Current Blue Card and Yellow Card, or willingness to obtain before commencement
- Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance, or willingness to obtain before commencement

Compensation
JC AEP uses a structured hourly progression model based on experience, capability and performance expectations.
