Are you an experienced FMCG sales professional with a passion for independent supermarkets and a proven track record of delivering results?
We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated and commercially minded Sales Representative to join our Queensland team and drive growth across the Independent Grocery Channel (Southern Territory).
Reporting directly to the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building strong retailer relationships, growing distribution, executing promotional activity and delivering outstanding sales outcomes across a portfolio of FMCG brands.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of your (southern) territory, work with respected independent retailers and play a key role in shaping the future growth of our business.
About the Role
As a trusted partner to your customers, you will:
- Drive sales growth, distribution and market share across your territory
- Build strong relationships with IGA, FoodWorks and independent supermarket operators
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Negotiate and manage promotional programs and in-store activations
- Maximise shelf presence and merchandising standards
- Launch and communicate new product initiatives
- Manage relationships with key multi-store groups
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to the wider team
- Effectively plan and manage metropolitan and regional store visits
What We're Looking For
You are a motivated sales professional who thrives on achieving results and building lasting customer relationships.
To be successful you will have:
- Minimum 5 years' FMCG field sales experience
- Strong knowledge of the Independent Grocery Channel
- Experience working with IGA, FoodWorks and multi store groups
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- A demonstrated ability to grow sales and win new business
- Solid organisational and territory management skills
- High levels of integrity, accountability and professionalism
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, iPad and sales reporting systems
- A current driver's license
