Council is seeking a Facilities Cleansing Officer to join the team responsible for the cleansing of public facilities (toilets) in the Blue Mountains. The position will undertake general cleaning duties to a high standard. As the position will be required to work in public places an ability to communicate effectively and politely with colleagues and members of the public is required. A current driver’s licence is required and to be successful you will have proven experience in, and a sound knowledge of, cleaning methods and procedures, including facility cleansing. You will also have the capacity to interpret and follow cleaning schedules and the use of technology.
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $54,601 gross per annum
- adverse working conditions allowance of $2,839 gross per annum
- 12% superannuation
- annual performance-based salary increases / bonus (1-3.5%)
- annual award increase
