Financial Controller | The Star Brisbane

As the Financial Controller, you will lead the delivery of accurate and timely financial accounting services for The Star Brisbane, ensuring compliance with Group policies, regulatory requirements, and reporting deadlines. You'll oversee month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, audit support, treasury, and key accounting activities while partnering closely with stakeholders across the business.

This is an opportunity to drive continuous improvement, strengthen financial controls, and provide leadership and mentoring to a high-performing finance team. Your expertise will play a critical role in protecting business assets and supporting informed decision-making.

What We’re Looking For:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with CA or CPA qualifications and at least 7 years' relevant accounting experience.
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar senior accounting role.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong systems knowledge, with experience using large ERP platforms such as Oracle,



alongside advanced Excel skills.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards, taxation, financial reporting requirements, and relevant statutory obligations.
