King Truss is a family-owned Frame, Truss & Building supplies Business based on the Sunshine Coast, servicing a Customer base that spans from Bundaberg to Ballina.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're searching for someone who puts the customer first as you are the last stop before our customer orders are loaded to go out. You will be responsible for unloading timber and associated items, and for assembling customer orders for loading onto trucks. Other responsibilities will include racking of timber and building materials and general organisation of the timber yard as well as loading frame and truss for Delivery.

What you can expect to do:

- Unloading incoming goods to our facility
- Loading Trucks with Frame/Truss and floor systems, along with ancillary items.
- Loading trucks with Building supplies and other Hardware.
- Picking orders to go to the site.
- working with other yard team members to ensure things are loaded promptly and that delivery deadlines are met.




- General housekeeping of the site to ensure items are stored neatly and safely.

What we need from you:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role is preffered.
- Open communication style
- An ability to work in and contribute to a team
- A strong focus on safety
- Knowledge of the building industry and products
- A can-do attitude
- you need to be a motivated self-starter who can work unsupervised
- A forklift ticket is a must
- willing to work overtime
- Customer focused
- Fit and able to do manual handling
