?About the role
Are you looking for a dynamic opportunity with a fast-growing, ASX-listed, global company? AI-Media (ASX:AIM) is currently on the hunt for a motivated FP&A; Analyst who is eager to add value to a purpose-driven company! This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, providing flexibility between working from home and the office.
The FP&A; Analyst focuses on end-of-month (EOM) reporting and closure, prepares board materials, partners with senior business leaders and operational stakeholders to support strategic decision-making, and contributes to budgeting, forecasting, and audit support.
Key responsibilities
- Month-End Close: Manage the timely and accurate closing of monthly accounts, including preparing reports for management review.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including board materials, ensuring timely delivery for internal stakeholders.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing and managing the company’s budget and forecasts, providing variance analysis, trend reports, and financial insights.
- Business Partnering:
Collaborate with senior business leaders and operational stakeholders to support strategic decisions, enhance financial performance, and deliver detailed financial analysis.
- Business Case Development: Build and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvements in reporting, budgeting, and accounting processes to enhance efficiency.
- Audit Support: Work with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and analysis during the audit process.
- Financial Accounting: Statutory accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, group month end closing & SAP
- Tax: Indirect and direct tax submissions including liaising with internal regions
- AP, Payroll and AR: Liaising with other team leads as required through month end and reconciliations
- ASX reporting & External Audit: Key member in the Half Year and Full Year Audit process
?About You The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and business partnering, with the ability to work effectively across teams, and a strong desire to learn about the commercial aspects of the business and improve processes. Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, combined with a hands-on approach to process improvement and delivering accurate work under tight deadlines, is highly valued.
- CPA or CA qualified (or equivalent overseas qualification)
- 3+ years of post-qualification experience in management accounting, financial reporting, business partnering, or audit
- Experience with month-end close processes, financial reporting, and analysis
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., complex formulas, financial modelling, large data sets manipulation)
- Proven ability to collaborate with non-financial stakeholders, communicate financial information clearly, and a strong desire to learn about the commercial aspects of the business.
- Desire to improve processes and reports, focusing on innovation rather than replication.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines with accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design effective solutions and address technical challenges
- Capable of working autonomously and as part of a small team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different time zones.
